Savoury Scones
Difficulty level: Easy
3 cups of self-raising flour
1 ½ cups grated cheese
4 tablespoons of chopped sundried tomatoes (or just chop up some regular tomatoes)
1 cup of spinach leaves, chopped
2 red onions, finely chopped
2 teaspoons of curry powder
2 cups of milk
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Line a tray with baking paper.
2. Mix the flour, curry, spinach, cheese, tomatoes, and onions in a bowl – be careful not to over mix.
3. Add the milk and mix until just combined. If the scones are wet and sticky, add more flour – or they will sink.
4. Shape into a log and cut into squares. Bake for 20-30 minutes until cooked.
