Banana Almond Porridge

INGREDIENTS
160g (5.6 oz) porridge oats
600ml water
2 bananas
4 tablespoons raw almonds
Cinnamon (optional)
DIRECTIONS
1. Put the oats and water into a large pot on a medium heat.
2. Add a small pinch of salt and stir with a wooden spoon.
3. Bring to a steady simmer and cook for 5 or 6 minutes. Keep stirring to make the porridge creamy – add more water if you like your porridge runnier.
4. Serve with half a sliced banana and a tablespoon of almonds. Option, add some cinnamon.
